We received our referral on September 13. It was really exciting. Joe and I did a conference call with our coordinator & she gave us the info.

He was 9 lbs at birth and he was born August 22nd.
He has the same birthday as Tori Amos, Cindy Williams (Shirley of Laverne & Shirley fame), Norman Schwarzkopf , Valerie Harper (Rhoda), Scooter Libby (ugh), and Howie D.
Still waiting. We can expect a referral in 2 – 4 weeks. My hunch is that it will be sooner but I thought out I171H would arrive in 2 months also. Dope.
I was hoping it would come yesterday, our anniversary. Instead, I did a face plant off our front steps, much to the amusement of the Monster House construction workers. I hope it’s not an omen.

Four months. Sigh. Much longer then I thought it would take. But, it’s done now.
Hopefully, we will have a referral soon. So, my husband and I will have more to obsess over then the McMansion being built next door to us.
