N turned 18 months on Sunday and on March 1 he will be with us as long as he was with his wonderful foster family. It feels like a tipping point of sorts. He’s doing all the age appropriate developmental things – we are so fortunate. And the peditrician assured me that the limited amount of TV he gets isn’t likely to cause ADD. He hated the crib from day one so we are still co-sleeping which has its ups and downs. He’s a big cuddler. His favorite sleeping position is wrapped around my neck with his head on my shoulder. He bangs on me a few times a night when I’ve moved to my side. Picky!
Joe and I just laid in bed last night gazing at him and rubbing his little toes/eyes/tummy. He knows a few words (momma/daddy/doggy). He’s a yes baby – he says yes to everything which I love. I know he’ll learn the word no but I love that his immediately response to everything is “yeah.”
