We had a lovely Halloween. His daycare (which is also a k-6) had a party. It was so nice and we could tell a great deal of effort went into it. I just love the daycare and how they seem so focused on the kiddos. It was also nice to meet some of the other parents.
N has started to eat with a fork. We went out to dinner on Monday evening and was starting to get all fussy. I gave him a fork and he pitched it into his burger (not full sized but good sized) and waved it in the air like it was a flag. Eventually, we were able to cut it into pieces and he ate the burger with the fork. Such a big boy!
I think he is already heading into this twos. This morning, he started to do the tp unroll and I told him no. He couldn’t quite figure out what to do – if he should continue the unrolling which provides him a deep joy or should he cry? I could see the wheels turning and eventually he just sat on his toes and cried. Of course, I did the distract and 1 minute later he was happy. But, we are def starting to see signs of the toddler he will soon be.
